He grew up in rural East Texas under the tutelage of his parents, Don and Elaine Bell, who have been pastors all of Pastor Bell's life. However, for a season he did not remain faithful to that early training. Because he is an accomplished musician, he spent several years traveling with various musical groups during that time. He surrendered to the call of God after a recommitment of his life to Christ at the age of 19.
An ordained minister of the Assemblies of God, Pastor Bell's formal education includes undergraduate work at Trinity Valley Community College, a B.S. in Pastoral Ministries from Southwestern Assemblies of God Bible College, and an M.A. in Theological Studies from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
In addition to his admirable educational accomplishments, his diverse and impressive ministry experience spans a period of twenty years and includes evangelistic ministry in revivals, church planting, camp meetings, and international missionary evangelism; instructional ministry in seminars, conventions, and councils; service ministry on district boards and committees (e.g., North Texas District Civic and Moral Awareness Research Committee and the Dallas Teen/Life Challenge Board, prior to moving to Arkansas); media ministry that includes both radio and television broadcasts; and previous senior pastorates in Morrisville, Missouri, and Tyler, Texas.
He became lead pastor of PBFA in October of 2005

Pastor Tim was born and raised in Tipton County, and he has a passion for people. His biggest blessing is to see them encounter the life-changing message of Jesus Christ, experience the power of the Holy Spirit working daily in their lives, and to participate in our worship services!
Pastor Tim is a firm believer in the simplistic life-changing Message of Jesus’ call of "follow me, and I will make you fishers of men" (Matt. 4:19). He believes a change occurs in your life, outlook, attitude, personal situation, and your future when you leave all and follow Christ. Pastor desires that all would consider Rose of Sharon Church a place where they are blessed and are, in turn, blessing others by what God is doing in them.
Tim is the husband of his beautiful wife, Lisa, and together they have two beautifully unique and talented daughters, MaKayla and McKenna. Pastor Tim is a graduate of Munford High School, an alumnus of the University of Memphis, and a graduate of Central Bible College. He is the Camp Coordinator for Rose of Sharon Summer Camps and a lover of all things sports related.
